The month of September marked the beginning of our homeschooling program. In 2 short weeks, our 3 and 4 years old have already learned their 4 basic colors (red, blue, black and white), and Adison, at 4 years old, is a bit more advanced as he can recognize the basic colors and yellow. He also knows how to write “a” in cursive, and is now writing the letter “b”.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”2339,2338,2340″ img_size=”medium” onclick=””][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1506040360972{padding-top: 15px !important;}”]Angelique is our newest child at Kominote Ti Fanmi Nou. Within only days of putting up a photo of her on social media, Angelique became fully sponsored. She is a joyous child, always smiling and she hardly cries.<\/p>\n

We had so much fun starting with Art Day Celebration in Fonds des Negres, and continuing until the wedding of \u00a0Jean-Louis Delouis, our longtime and faithful Director of Logistics to the love of his life, Joane Vigne.[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner 0=””][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image 0=”” image=”2350″][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image 0=”” image=”2353″][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image 0=”” image=”2344″][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_custom_heading text=”ARTDAY CELEBRATION 2017″ font_container=”tag:h5|text_align:left” use_theme_fonts=”yes” css=”.vc_custom_1506049638421{margin-top: 0px !important;}”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1506052843099{padding-top: 15px !important;}”]This year ADC went to the countryside to a little village called “Belo” in Fonds des Negres where 70 children from the village were happy to experience the joy of art-making. This was the first time such an event was afforded to them and they were ecstatic. There was choreographed dancing, singing, painting and performing arts.<\/p>\n

The children from Our Small Community of Family enjoyed the beauty of country living. They especially loved bathing in the stream of water that ran across the land.<\/p>\n

WOW! What a glorious time we had. The kids were so happy to get all dressed up in tuxedos, suits, evening-gala outfits and high heels.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text 0=””]Betsyboo was the flower girl and Rija the ring bearer. The looked so cute walking down the aisle before the bride and groom who were themselves looking pretty gorgeous.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner 0=””][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text 0=””]<\/p>\n
